Global Dance
Artist
Lyric Lucas
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
This painting started as a tribute to Bob Fosse’s dance “The Rich Man’s Frug” from the 60’s movie Sweet Charity and the space age fashions, but it evolved into an expressionistic reflection of the times. Inspired the global pandemic, PPE, Masks, climate change. Living in our own bubbles we are all dancing to the tune of a world that has left us dazed and confused!
Painted during the 2020 Covid 19 pandemic.
